Moreover, his study is also relevant for understanding the cancer development and use this knowhow for its prevention as well as treatment. This is why another recommendation read as follows:

Hypoxic cells are resistant to radiotherapy as a result of their mediation of toxic effects by oxygen-dependent free radicals. Given the burden cancer places on the U.S. healthcare system and the American population, it is clear that research that advances the development of novel cancer therapeutics is paramount to national public health. Therefore, given that his work is substantially addressing urgent national public health concerns, I must emphasize the need for his research to continue uninterrupted.”
