Case Summary:

Texas Service Center spent 8.5 months adjudicating our client’s EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) petition before granting their approval. Our client, a gifted postdoctoral associate from Nepal, hired North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) because he knew that we would do a good job preparing and submitting a strong petition packet on his behalf. .

Building a convincing case:

In preparing our client’s EB-2 NIW petition, we pinpointed several areas on which to focus on. These areas included his academic accomplishments and professional achievements. For instance, we noted our client’s M.Sc. and Ph.D. and established that his advanced educational background has equipped him with the skills needed to conduct outstanding research that benefits the United States. Obtaining additional evidence:

Although we already had a strong case in the bag, it was not enough to convince the USCIS that our client qualified for the national interest waiver. Our client approached six experts, all of whom agreed to sign recommendation letters that verified the significance of his research on improving the techniques for detecting x-ray emissions and measuring neutrinos, as well as unearthing insights into the underlying factors that determine the outcomes of doping semiconductors. These letters supported our argument that our client’s findings benefit the country’s space research endeavors and its robust electronics industry. • “These benefits, and many more, have secured [Client’s] position at the forefront of the field, and owing to his significant contributions, I would like to reiterate my enthusiastic support for his work. I have no doubt that [Client’s] research will continue to greatly impact our field and the nation.”

Attaining petition approval:

We join our client as he celebrates the approval of his EB-2 NIW petition. Now, all that is standing in the way between him and his green card is the I-485 application. Once that is approved, he will become an American permanent resident. We wish him well with this step and thank him for selecting our law firm to represent his EB-2 NIW case.
