Case Summary:

It is well-known that one of the certain ways to determine the worth of a researcher is to look at the funding they have received. This is how we knew our client from China, a research fellow in biomedical science, was the perfect fit for the National Interest Waiver (NIW) category. As an expert in the field of biomedical science, he had received 4 major funding from national and international institutions namely the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, the Cancer Research Society.

These project summaries were complemented by expert commentaries that highlighted his use of innovative methodologies, the nature of his breakthroughs, and the ways that his unique findings have been applied throughout the field. Our client has pursued research directly related to his proposed endeavor of investigating the molecular mechanisms behind genetic disorders, inflammation-associated disorders, and cancers for 8 years.

Thus his education, experience, expertise, record of publication and citation, and history of successful research in the field all helped indicate that he is well positioned to advance the proposed endeavor. These facts established that it is beneficial to the United States to waive the requirements of a job offer and labor certification.
