Case Summary:

An expert in the field of renewable energy generation and storage, who wanted to continue his research on developing state-of-the-art sustainable energy technologies for transportation, buildings, industries, and power generation came to our firm seeking help with his NIW(National Interest Waiver) petition. So, it was clear to us that his proposed endeavor also has broad implications for the United States since moving away from traditional energy sources and developing sustainable, renewable, economical energy sources are one of the most important ways to meet the greenhouse gas pollution reduction goals set by the U.S. federal government and the Paris Agreement. His work on improving renewable energy capacity in air-conditioned units, therefore, is extremely pertinent to energy considerations in the U.S.

It was due to its clear national importance that his research has in fact been supported with funding from USAID. Not only this but his research has resulted in 18 peer-reviewed journal articles (4 of them first-authored) and 4 peer-reviewed conference papers (3 of them first-authored) which have been cited a total of 227 times according to Google Scholar.

Thus, he has pursued research directly related to his proposed endeavor of developing state-of-the-art sustainable energy technologies for transportation, buildings, industries, and power generation for 18 years now. This has given him immense experience and added to his worth to the nation.
