Case Summary:

The EB2-NIW (National Interest Waiver) is a kind of nonimmigrant visa granted to those foreign individuals who are experts in their field and whose work is of interest to the United States. So any NIW petition must contain arguments proving the petitioner’s worth for the country beyond a reasonable doubt. This entails writing strong and informed applications for adjudication. At the same time, his research has resulted in 11 peer-reviewed journal articles (6 of them first-authored) which have been cited a total of 153 times according to Google Scholar, thereby demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in the field of physical chemistry.
• Letters of recommendation: He had also received 4 letters of recommendation from other experts in the field. Two of these letters had the following arguments:

“[The client] has proven himself to be an important part of the scientific community. His advancements in machine learning applications and theoretical physical chemistry have allowed teams worldwide to stay at the cutting edge of research. [The client’s] work is invaluable in improving our understanding of metallic and insulating properties by providing a classical interpretation of quantum principles that are otherwise difficult to understand. Through his work with pharmaceutical development, [the client] is responsible for saving the lives of many who depend on modern medicine to cope with various diseases. [Client’s] work experiences have made him a gifted researcher with incredible skills in some of the most important techniques in current scientific progress.”

Thus, his nine years of experience in the field helped him gain the necessary knowledge and experience to continue his work in the field leading to his victory in less than 6 months. We are grateful to him for choosing our firm and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
