Case Summary:

In this case we were offered the opportunity to work with a South Korean mechanical engineer, who had focused specifically on advancing technologies to improve accessibility and quality of life for persons with disabilities. As part of our successful strategy for our client’s case, we submitted extensive documentation proving his highly significant contributions to his field, which included 7 peer-reviewed journal articles, dozens of conference papers and presentations, a book chapter, several research grants, and 11 patents..  This work had received at least 662 citations by the time we filed his case, nearly all of which were by independent researchers around the world, demonstrating the wide recognition of and reliance upon our client’s work in his field. We also showed that his continued employment in his field would benefit both his field as a whole and the people of the United States in general. We successfully argued that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW petition was approved in eleven months and five days.
