Case Summary:

This EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) case involved a postdoctoral researcher from China. He hired North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help him get one step closer to a green card. The USCIS spent 9 months and 3 days processing his case before granting their approval. At the end of the day, it is not very surprising that our client received a highly sought-after EB-1A petition approval. Only the cream of the crop qualify for this visa category and considering our client’s various professional achievements, he was a suitable candidate for EB-1A.

Obtaining petition approval:

To help our clients obtain EB-1A approval, we must prove that they meet at least 3 out of the 10 criteria for EB-1A. In this case, we showed that our client has sufficient experience judging the work of others, has published his findings, and has made significant contributions to the field (one way to measure this is by using his citation count). Our client passed every requirement with flying colors. His achievements were lauded by a prominent professor in the field of oncology who contributed a recommendation letter in support of his EB-1A petition. This professor stated that “He has already achieved astounding accomplishments as a researcher in the oncology and endocrinology fields, making his mark with substantial numbers of journal article contributions, conference presentations, peer-review services, and conference presentation evaluations.” Four other experts in the field of oncology also contributed recommendation letters, all of which contained strong statements similar to the one above.

We demonstrated that his advanced degree molded him into the leading researcher that he is today—one who is fully equipped with the theoretical knowledge to conduct impactful research on molecular mechanisms behind carcinogenesis. Our client is especially well-known for advancing America’s most pressing issues related to the progression and severity of thyroid cancer. His work boasts various applications, such as the development of novel drug therapies and cancer treatment methods.

Completing the journey:
