Client’s Testimonial:
“Thank you very much for your excellent handling of my I-140 petition. I am really happy that it has been approved.”
On April 7th, 2016, we received another EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Field of Agricultural Science (Approval Notice).
General Field: Agricultural Science
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Postdoctoral Research Associate
Country of Origin: India
Service Center: Nebraska Service Center (NSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Kansas
Approval Notice Date: April 7th, 2016
Processing Time: 7 months, 5 days
Case Summary:
Exactly 7 months and 5 days after we filed an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on behalf of a postdoctoral research associate from India, the USCIS granted their approval. Our client, a doctoral degree holder working in the field of agricultural science, hired North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) because he was aware of our high approval rates. He needed us to help him put together a persuasive EB-1A petition packet that showcased his various accomplishments in the field.
EB-1A Petition Details:
As soon as an attorney-client relationship arose, we got to work compiling a wealth of information that could support our case. Here are some of the things that we managed to gather: our client’s peer review experience, publication record, and citation count. At the time of filing, these figures stood at 3 reviews, 9 publications and 8 presentations, and 75 citations. We used this data to convince the USCIS that our client is a leader in his field and that other researchers depend on his insights to progress their work. In addition to that, we reviewed our client’s work on plant development, weed physiology, and postharvest biology. In reference to what we learned, we concluded that our client’s work benefits the U.S. agricultural sector in the sense that it helps identify appropriate strategies for managing herbicide resistance in weeds.
Supporting Documents:
Our client’s EB-1A petition packet also contained detailed recommendation letters furnished by other experts in his field. As part of our services, we helped our client select these recommenders based on two criteria: they had to be familiar with our client’s publications and/or had worked with him. Our client successfully obtained letters from six shortlisted recommenders, one of whom had this to say about him: “[Client’s] impressive background and training at laudable academic institutions has shaped him into a researcher with a unique perspective and academic record that allow him to conduct research geared heavily towards practicality and usability. I simply do not believe that the research community of the U.S., or of the world, could have advanced as far as it has in our understanding of leafy spurge gene expression without [Client’s] diligent work, and we continue to rely upon his insight and skills today.”
Case Approval:
We join our client as he celebrates the approval of his EB-1A petition. We are currently helping him and his wife file I-485 applications. Once the USCIS approves their applications, they will become American permanent residents. We look forward to helping them accomplish this goal and thank them for selecting our law firm to represent their case.
