Client’s Testimonial:
“Thank you very much for the confirmation.”
On January 9th, 2017, we received another EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval for a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Field of Chemistry (Approval Notice).
General Field: Chemistry
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Postdoctoral Scholar
Country of Origin: India
Service Center: Texas Service Center (TSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Kentucky
Approval Notice Date: January 9th, 2017
Processing Time: 13 Days (Premium Processing Requested)
Case Summary:
Just 13 days after North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) filed an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on behalf of a postdoctoral scholar from India, Texas Service Center approved his petition. Largely thanks to Premium Processing (PP), our client’s processing timeline was rapidly sped up and instead of waiting 4-9 months, he waited less than 2 weeks for action to be taken on his case. As is apparent, PP is an excellent option for petitioners who are unable or unwilling to wait months for the USCIS to make a move.
What did the EB-1A dossier contain?
For one, we included five recommendation letters contributed by our client’s peers. From a professor in India to an associate professor in Australia, our client had earned the support of many expert chemists around the world, one of whom stated that: “[Client] is a frontrunner of such energy research, as is evidenced by his water oxidation studies. His expertise in this area has enabled the U.S. to explore new alternatives to fossil fuels, such as hydrogen fuel. He has paved the way for environmentally-friendly water oxidation, and as a result, he is continually advancing the state of energy research throughout the country.”
Further, we listed the 343 citations gathered from our client’s 32 scientific articles and the 26 times he judged the work of his peers. We also detailed his work on the development of new materials for application in renewable energy initiatives. After many months of preparation, we were able to persuade the USCIS that our client’s findings progress the US’ understanding on how to apply novel materials and molecules in useful catalyst systems, biomimetic membranes, and energy storage.
We are extremely pleased at the outcome of this case as not only does it bring our client one step closer to his green card, it is testament to our abilities as a law firm that will do whatever it takes to help our clients accomplish their immigration goals. We thank our client for working with us and wish him the best as he takes the final step towards permanent residency by filing an I-485 application.
