Client’s Testimonial:
“Thank you very much for all your efforts on my case. This would not have happened without your help. Thanks again.”
On March 1st, 2017, we received another EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval for an Assistant Professor in the Field of Medical Anesthesiology (Approval Notice).
General Field: Medical Anesthesiology
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Anesthesiologist/ Assistant Professor
Country of Origin: Iran
Service Center: Texas Service Centre (TSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Outside the US
Approval Notice Date: March 1st, 2017
Processing Time: 12 days (Premium Processing Requested)
Case Summary:
Just 12 days after filing his EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition with the request of Premium Processing, our client received notification of case approval. While based in Iran, this anesthesiologist and assistant professor hired the team at NAILG (North America Immigration Law Group) to represent his EB1A case.
In preparing the EB1A petition, we gave a detailed description of our client’s work which ranges from understanding pre, intra, and postoperative forms of pain management and anesthesiology. We also accumulated data regarding his academic achievements. Among this was his impressive publication record of 151 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 1 book. We used this information to demonstrate our client’s relentless advancement of the field of medical anesthesiology through his impactful research. Further, we proved the impact of his work by listing his citation count, which stood at a staggering 1,180 citations at the time of filing. This showed the USCIS how other researchers greatly benefit from his work.
Another way we demonstrated our client’s various contributions to the field was by detailing the 50 peer reviews he had conducted for well-known scientific journals. We also noted that he is on the editorial board of two journals. His stellar peer review record and other achievements have earned him praise from other experts in the field. Several of them contributed recommendation letters in support of our client’s EB1A case, and they proved to be of great value in reinforcing our principal argument that our client’s entry to the United States will substantially benefit the nation. A statement from one such letter is listed below:
“The importance of [Client]’s research is unquestionable… interrupting [Client]’s work would be immensely harmful to the United States. Based on his record of achievements, both professionally and academically, I am confident that he will continue along this avenue of research for years to come and his presence is needed for the improvement of medical practices.”
As the final step towards a green card, our client has to undergo Immigrant Visa Processing (which is how applicants residing outside the US obtain permanent residency). As there is no US embassy/consulate in Iran, our client must undergo IVP at one of the following US embassies: Ankara, Turkey; Abu Dhabi, UAE; or Yerevan, Armenia. We wish him the best with this and thank him for working with us on his EB1A case.
