Client’s Testimonial:
“Thank you so much for your service!”
On April 20th, 2016, we received another EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval for a Senior R&D Scientist in the Field of Organic Chemistry (Approval Notice).
General Field: Organic Chemistry
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Senior R&D Scientist
Country of Origin: China
Service Center: Nebraska Service Center (NSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Pennsylvania
Approval Notice Date: April 20th, 2016
Processing Time: 1 month, 4 days (Premium Processing Requested)
Case Summary:
A senior R&D Scientist from China engaged the services of North America Immigration Law Group (WeGreened.com) to help her obtain a green card. Thanks to Premium Processing (PP), our client did not have to wait between 4-9 months for the USCIS to take action on her EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) case. She chose the PP option 19 days after the case was initially filed under regular processing, and received an approval notice 16 days after the upgrade.
With a Ph.D. in Chemistry and extensive experience working in the field of organic chemistry, our client had suitable credentials to qualify for EB-1A. We worked meticulously to present a strong EB-1A case to the USCIS, and it was partly made up of the following:
- Recommendation Letters: Third-party support is just as important to an EB-1A case as listing the petitioner’s accomplishments. We needed experts in the field to briefly discuss our client’s work and verify its importance to the United States. Our client reached out to other experts in the field of organic chemistry and convinced six professionals to furnish us with recommendation letters. This is what one of them stated: “[Client] is functioning at the very pinnacle of both theoretical and practical innovation in her field, and her particular perspective and skills would be extremely difficult to replace. In fact, it is certain that any interruption to her work would be very detrimental to the forward progress that the field of chemistry currently enjoys.”
- Research Projects: Our client provided us with a comprehensive research summary, and we carefully reviewed it to understand her investigations. We concluded that our client’s work has direct implications for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and fragrance products as well as for the analysis of food and water purity. Further, she has designed these revolutionary methodologies using exclusively inexpensive, ecofriendly materials.
- Publication Count: Our client’s many years in the field have led to the publication of a dozen scientific articles, all of which were published in prominent journals.
- Citation Record: When we filed the case, our client’s work had accumulated 102 citations, all from independent and leading researchers around the world.
- Peer Review Experience: As only leaders in the field are invited to conduct peer reviews for scientific journals, our client’s experience assessing the work of her peers is proof that her opinions are highly regarded by other researchers.
We congratulate our client for attaining a highly sought after EB-1A petition approval. We are currently helping her prepare an I-485 application, and as the final step in the green card process, our client will obtain her green card after the USCIS approves her application.
