Client’s Testimonial:
“I appreciate help by Chen Immigration regarding my approval and the entire process.”
On March 23rd, 2020, we received another EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval for an Assistant Professor in the Field of Cardiology (Approval Notice).
General Field: Cardiology
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Assistant Professor
Country of Origin: India
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: Texas
Approval Notice Date: March 23rd, 2020
Processing Time: 1 month, 11 days (Premium Processing requested)
Case Summary:
Our client, an assistant professor from India working in the field of cardiology, received notification that his EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition had been approved in just 1 month and 11 days after it was filed, thanks to PP (Premium Processing). We started off by evaluating his credentials and once we established that we could build a strong case for him, we initiated an attorney-client relationship. Our client’s strong qualifications made him a suitable candidate for EB-1A, a visa category with a very high standard of law.
Our law firm’s role in this story:
This EB-1A petition focused on our client’s research project on investigating the pathophysiology of coronary artery disease and anomalies. Amongst other things, his investigations address some of our nation’s most pressing issues in understanding how heart conditions develop, especially in minority populations. His expertise in the field has also enhanced knowledge pertaining to structural heart disease, including improving the understanding of the structural anomalies involved coronary artery disease and optimal procedures for repairing structural heart conditions. We also incorporated recommendation letters signed by other influential researchers, one of whom stated that: “Because treatment of hypertension costs approximately 370 billion dollars each year, [client’s] work focused on improving early treatment for patients with hypertension has implications for saving healthcare expenditures, and thus is beneficial to the global economy. With the USCIS’ support of his sustained work in the United States, [client’s] research will continue to have a high impact on the field, which, in turn, has broad benefits for improving the health of individuals in this country and abroad.”
At the time of filing, our client had conducted 20 peer reviews, published 13 peer-reviewed scientific articles and one book chapter which collected a total of 256 citations. Taken together, these numbers denoted that his findings, insights, and opinions have on the overall field of cardiology and the many researchers working to progress it. The customized EB-1A petition packet which we arranged for our client also included a citation map to objectively demonstrate the international influence of our client’s work, as well as the widespread actual implementation of his work in the field of cardiology.
Obtaining petition approval:
We would like to congratulate our client for obtaining a highly sought-after EB-1A petition approval. We thank him for working with our firm, and we wish him well as he and his spouse undergo Immigrant Visa Processing (IVP).
