Case Summary:

The distinguished client that North America Immigration Law Group – WeGreened.com had the pleasure of working with in this case was a Research Associate from Iran working in the field of electrical energy storage.  His work had focused specifically on the development of various types of electrochemical capacitors, including 3D micro-supercapacitors, graphene supercapacitors, electrochemical flow capacitors, (EFCs), high energy density electric double layer capacitors (EDLCs), and “green” supercapacitors, for a variety of important electrical applications.  His research results had directly contributed to adapting to the United States’ and the world’s growing energy consumption. We demonstrated that his continued employment in the field would not only benefit those in his field, but the citizens of the United States at large. To achieve success in this case, we submitted extensive documentation proving our client’s highly significant contributions to the field of electrical energy storage, including at least 9 peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous conference papers. His publications had been cited at least 94 times at the time of case filing, demonstrating that these publications are widely recognized and relied upon in his field.  The importance of his work is summarized by the following quote from an independent recommender, “His comprehensive skills have led [him] to complete a number of significant studies from start to finish, resulting in several groundbreaking findings related to the development and optimization of energy storage systems.  The energy storage systems developed by [him] are useful for powering small devices like personal laptop computers, cellular phones, or tablets, as well as advanced sensors for environmental and structural monitoring or chemical/biological sensing. [He] also has made great contributions in developments of large grid-scale energy storage systems. Large-scale energy storage systems are essential for the wide implementation of clean and “green,” renewable energy sources, which is a concern for not only the United States and its interests, but also for the rest of the world.”  Through extensive documentation, we were able to successfully argue that our client would serve the national interest to a significantly greater degree than others with similar education and experience. His NIW application was approved in 2 ½ months.
