Case Summary:

“The zeolites studied in [the client’s] work are primarily used in the petroleum and petrochemical industries, but they have become increasingly popular in catalysis as well, such as for biomass conversion and biofuels. Indeed, catalysis is playing a key role in the U.S.’s efforts to adopt greener and more sustainable manufacturing processes by reducing both byproducts and energy usage. Achieving energy independence is therefore of the utmost importance to the US, and it requires the use of domestic energy sources, which biofuels provide. This is one of the numerous nationally important challenges that [the client’s] ongoing research has helped to solve, illustrating the benefits of retaining him.”

The above passage makes it evident that the client is a very talented individual whose research is of immense benefit to the United States. It was the job of our firm to represent him in his NIW (National Interest Waiver) case to the USCIS. So our team put its heart and soul into getting his petition ready for filing. As President Biden has continued to emphasize, the U.S. has fallen behind its former status as a world leader in semiconductor production. On the other hand, the U.S. government has declared China’s attempts to control the global semiconductor production market to be an urgent national security threat, which is why Congress passed the CHIPS act to invest in workforce training, plant construction, and “basic research” on advanced semiconductor chips to “increase the United States competitiveness and strengthen national security.”
• Due to his knowledge and expertise in semiconductor processes and chemical catalysis, he has been regularly invited to conduct peer reviews and has completed at least 18 reviews already.
• His research has been published as 12 peer-reviewed journal articles (5 of them first-authored) which have been cited a total of 295 times according to Google Scholar.
• With 6 years of experience behind him, our client also obtained 5 letters of recommendation which helped prove his work’s value for the U.S. further.
