Case Summary:

A China-born postdoctoral fellow based in Arkansas received EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval merely 12 days after North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) filed the petition. With a PhD and a medical degree, he has undoubtedly gained the knowledge and skills required to carry out impactful research in the field of biomedical science.

What is PP?

The swift adjudication of our client’s case was made possible because he opted for Premium Processing (PP), which is a paid option offered to certain I-140 categories. Essentially, our client paid an additional $1, 225 to have the USCIS take action on his petition within 15 calendar days.

Building a strong EB-1A case:

As only the finest academics are invited to judge the work of others, the inclusion of this important information helped convince the USCIS of our client’s high standing in the field.

To further strengthen our client’s EB-1A petition, we encouraged him to reach out to other experts in the field and procure recommendation letters. Six professors agreed to lend their support, one of whom described our client as “…one among a handful of uniquely talented researchers.” Another recommender pointed out the ways in which his work benefits the general public, “Conditions of the thyroid take a heavy toll on patients and healthcare systems alike. It is well within the best interest of these thousands of individuals that [Client]’s research be continued indefinitely.”
