Case Summary:

With a Ph.D. in in Organic Chemistry obtained from a reputable university in his birth country of China, a scientist based in Saudi Arabia hired North America Immigration Law Group (NAILG) to help him obtain a green card. His expansive academic background and professional experience made him a perfect candidate for EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability). After evaluating his credentials, we were convinced that we could help him secure EB1A approval.

NAILG argued that our client deserved to be granted permanent residency in the United States because his work is of utmost value to the country and to the realm of science at large. His studies address some of the nation’s most pressing issues in developing effective methodologies to construct the chemical compounds used in pharmaceutical drugs, agrochemicals, food additives, etc.

We started building his EB-1A case by collecting relevant information pertaining to his outstanding accomplishments in the field of chemistry. First and foremost, we highlighted the 9 peer-reviewed scientific research articles published in some of the most prestigious, high impact journals. This, combined with his 36 patents distinguished him from the rest of his peers. A notable 103 citations of his work by researchers from prestigious institutions and organizations around the world also provided us with ample proof of the importance of his research. We also noted the 50 peer reviews he had conducted for multiple high-impact journals.

Our client’s EB-1A petition was further strengthened by the recommendation letters provided by several influential members of the scientific community. These letters attested to the importance and significance of our client’s contributions. Contained in one of these letters was the following statement: “[Client]’s achievements have established him as one of the leading researchers working at the cutting edge of the chemistry field. His advances would be difficult, if not impossible, for most of his peers to achieve, and in view of his accomplishments to date, his continuing work is sure to drive further progress in the field.”

Thanks to Premium Processing (PP), the USCIS only spent 12 days adjudicating our client’s EB-1A petition. We congratulate him for securing petition approval, and we thank him for choosing our law firm to assist him in the green card process.
