For one, he is improving medical comprehension of factors involved in HIV and AIDS, which greatly improves the efficacy of treatments applied to patients of certain backgrounds, thereby improving mortality rates. Given that HIV affects 36.7 million people throughout the world, the benefits offered by [Client’s] research are inherently valuable to life today.”
The statement above was made by a respected professor working in the field of molecular biology. He signed a letter of recommendation in support of our client’s EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition and the aforementioned statement is an excerpt from his letter. He was joined by five of his peers, all of whom volunteered strong recommendation letters supporting the value of our client’s research to the US.
Although our client (a research scientist from India) had very strong credentials, he needed our help to refine his presentation and present a convincing case to the USCIS. He opted for Premium Processing (PP) and received an approval notice just 13 days later. As part of our services, we put together a strong EB-1A petition for him and these were some of the points we chose to focus on:
- We noted our client’s 13 peer-reviewed journal articles, 1 invited journal editorial, and 1 book chapter as well as the 180 citations gathered from his work.
- His 20 peer reviews were also detailed, proving that he is an asset to the molecular biology research community.
- We also described our client’s work on the identification of novel molecular targets in the treatment of human disease. Based on what we learned from our client’s research summary, we persuaded the USCIS that his research addresses some of the United States’ most pressing issues in understanding the biological and molecular mechanisms involved in the etiology and progression of diseases such as Wilms tumors, schizophrenia, HIV/AIDS, and leukemia.
We are extremely pleased that the USCIS approved our client’s EB-1A petition. We recently received the good news that our client had obtained his green card using our complimentary D.I.Y. Packet. We congratulate him on becoming an American permanent resident and thank him for working with us.
