Client’s Testimonial:
“Great news!!! […] Thanks so much for all your help!!!”
On April 12th, 2016, we received another EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) approval for a Lead Researcher in the Field of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Approval Notice).
General Field: Pharmaceutical Sciences
Position at the Time of Case Filing: Lead Researcher
Country of Origin: China
Service Center: Nebraska Service Center (NSC)
State of Residence at the Time of Filing: New York
Approval Notice Date: April 12th, 2016
Processing Time: 5 Days (Premium Processing Requested)
Case Summary:
Merely five days after we filed an EB-1A (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) petition on behalf of a lead researcher from China, she received notification of case approval. Such rapid adjudicating is largely thanks to Premium Processing (PP), a paid option offered by the USCIS. By paying $1,225 more, petitioners can expect action to be taken on their cases within 15 days instead of 4-9 months. Considering how quickly the USCIS adjudicated our client’s case, we have no doubt that our strong presentation of our client’s impressive credentials lent a hand in case approval.
Compelling Credentials:
Our client’s EB-1A petition packet was partly composed of the following: data on her 29 peer-reviewed scientific articles and one book chapter, the 263 citations to her name, and the 120 reviews that she conducted for over 20 scientific journals. Her various accomplishments served as strong evidence that she is a leading researcher in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and that many researchers working in the field are using her work to progress their investigations.
One of our main arguments was that our client’s work is important to the United States and that she is an irreplaceable asset to the country. We supported this argument by incorporating five recommendation letters that our client obtained from her peers. Strong statements such as these laid a solid foundation for our case: “[Client’s] research, which investigates ways to improve the efficacy and efficiency of cancer treatment, is indispensable to the larger effort to improve patient outcomes in an economically feasible and sustainable manner.”
To further strengthen our client’s EB-1A petition, we detailed her various research projects on developing novel drugs and drug delivery systems, and explained to the USCIS that her work is essential to the continuous growth of the American pharmaceutical sector.
I-485 Application:
Less than a month after we received the good news that our client’s EB-1A petition had been approved, she retained us to help her with the final step of the green card process. This involved preparing and submitting all the relevant I-485 application documents for herself and her spouse. We did so in an efficient manner, and are currently awaiting a favorable outcome from the USCIS. Till then, we wish our client the best with her continued research efforts in the important field of pharmaceutical sciences.
